It was somewhat busy but there were still open chairs. We sat by the pool for over 4 hours (only because we enjoyed our company) and new towels were never brought out. They were out of pool towels and instead of staff knowing why or helping us out, we were sent on a wild goose chase around the property to find out they were all dirty and it would be an hour before they had fresh ones. The fitness room is tiny and underwhelming.
They charge a resort fee per night but it’s not a resort, it’s a basic hotel and smoke filled casino. We were on the 4th floor next to the ice machine.the ice buckets are metal and we could hear people filling them throughout the night. Air ventilation in the room wasn’t great, it smelled like stale cigarettes and smoke, not sure if it was the room itself or if it was coming from the casino.
This property was a disappointment, especially after staying at other Hard Rock Hotels.
